The mosque is located at a slightly inclined plot inside Hasankeyf New Settlement Area. Accessed through complex walls defining a courtyard on the upper street level, the mosque bears resemblance to Artuqid structures of similar nature, for being a laterally expanding Friday Mosque with a single dome and minaret. Panels with geometric Kufic script subtly ornate otherwise plain wall surfaces. Educational spaces and imam residence open to the garden behind the mihrab wall below the main praying area.
