Dikmen Valley Mosque

Dikmen Valley Mosque, located at the 3rd Phase of Dikmen Valley Urban Redevelopment Zone is built simultaneously with Park Vadi Residences. The building’s horizontal accentuation with wooden eaves and buttresses is reflected on the ground level, with ground stone clad basement walls and truncated rustic andesite retaining walls. As the steep slopes of Dikmen Valley and series of high rise buildings aligning its ridges exaggerate the sense of spatial definition, the mosque brings the scale of space down to the level of intimacy required in a place of worship.
