The project is located to the immediate west of historic core of Ankara, in a district rich with Early Republican Period buildings. As part of the proposal measuring 420.000 m2, existing Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium is refurbished for the sport of athletics with several amateur sports federation offices, gymnasiums and hospitality units circumambulating the structure. The new building ring commences next to existing Atatürk Sports Hall at the southern entrance and is concluded with a Tennis Stadium located immediately north of present day Ankara Tennis Club.
